This is a beautiful micro-beaded purse featuring a courting couple in a garden setting with a gazebo in the background and was made in Germany.  It has so much detail, especially on the people themselves.  They are both dressed in their Sunday finest.  The frame is fabulous with four malachite jewels as well as four sapphires and one ruby jewel.  White enameled scrolls accent it all the way across.  The fringe is done in blue and green from the colors in the purse in intertwined loops.  The inside is lined in taupe silk and still bears the original "Made in Germany" label with a little ruched pocket.  Overall it is in perfect condition with no missing beads or damage that I can see anywhere.  This is a fairly large purse measuring 8" wide x 14" long including the clasp and fringe.

This gorgeous micro-beaded purse features a couple outside an estate with an onion dome atop the house.  Dressed in their Sunday finest, the gentleman is bowing to his lady fair and kissing her hand ... how sweet!  The colors are very vibrant and it is in absolutely perfect condition with no bead loss or damage anywhere that I can see.  The frame is spectacular boasting jewels and enameled accents on the frame as well as the drop pendant and the 2" high filigreed crown jeweled clasp. All stones are present and accounted for.  The fringe is a lovely intertwined looping fringe in matching colors to the purse.  The interior has its original lining in pink silk with braided trim and a little ruched pocket. The enamel on the crown clasp has a bit of discoloration and a few small chips but I had to inspect it with a loupe to say that for sure as I could not feel them or see them.  Measures 7" wide x 13-1/2" long including the clasp and fringe.

This is a stunning figural beaded purse and one of the finest I've ever seen.  The scene is of a couple outside an estate seen in the background behind the walled grounds.  The gentleman is dressed in his finest with cape and hat while the lady is in her best gown.  He appears to be reaching for her hand.  This is a scene I have never come across before and I consider it to be very rare. It is possibly an artist's renditon of Nicolas Lancret's painting "Nicaise" dated 1738.  The frame on this one is absolutely stupendous.  Jeweled and enameled with a large jeweled crown clasp to set it off.  The interior is lined in Wedgwood blue silk with green ribbon trim.  And the fringe!!!  Beautifully done with twisted interlocking loops with 7 -- count them -- 7 color changes!  I just can't say enough about this beauty.  Condition is excellent with the only apologies being a few small chips in the left red stone and a wee bit of missing enamel on the clasp (more noticeable in the photos than in person).  Beads are all intact and purse is in fantastic condition.  Measures 7" wide x 13" long overall.

This beautiful beaded purse depicts a tranquil scene of a country cottage beside a river with an arched bridge behind it.  The purse is in fantastic condition and boasts a DOUBLE-SIDED jeweled frame with 29 jewels in every color imaginable including a large ruby in the drop pendant. There was no fringe on this one when I got it so I had a professional restorer do a fantastic fringe with some very rare antique robin's egg blue beads which I'm told were extremely difficult to get.  The fringe on this one alone cost a small fortune but I think it was well worth it as it makes the design really pop.  All of the beads used in the fringe are vintage so it enhances the purse tremendously.  I think sometimes the original makers omit the fringe because they are so tedious to do but make all the difference in the world when done properly.  The purse retains its original lining with an attached little change purse and a metallic braided trim. Measures 6-1/4" wide at frame x 6-3/4" wide at bottom edge x 11" long from top of clasp to bottom of fringe.

By far and away one of the most spectacular purses I have ever owned!  This stunning Venetian beaded purse depicts a continuous (wraps around the purse for a full mural effect - see inset) scene of a Venice village with canal and gondola with gondolier.  The gondola is on the front side of the purse; the reverse side continues the scene and there is a sailboat coming in from sea on the far right edge.  There are about a zillion different bead colors in this purse making it as detailed as a painting!  As if this isn't enough, just look at that frame!  The main part of the frame has jewels and enameled daisies ... but then the clasp ... it has a huge malachite jewel in the center and a matching stone in the drop pendant.  The fringe is done in a rich turquoise color that mimicks the colors of the ocean.  The inside has its original (I believe) lining in excellent condition with French ribbon roses trim.  This gem measures a tad over 6" wide at frame, 6-1/2" wide at bottom, and almost 10-1/2" long from clasp to fringe.

This rare beauty features a lovely scene on the front and back of a horse and rider in full riding outfit complete with boots.  There is even a castle atop a mountain in the background!  I cannot say enough about the magnificent frame on this one.  It has a beautiful filigreed frame set with two large malachite cabochon jewels on each corner and a matching one on the drop pendant.  There are small ruby and sapphire jewels surrounding each of the corners and a small ruby under the pendant.  The high crown clasp has the same rubies and sapphires surrounding a LARGE amber stone which I believe is genuine amber (not being a gemologist I can't swear to this, but it certainly looks real to me).  There are 25 jewels in the frame all together.  To top it all off, there are two emerald glass faceted jewels in the chain handle with fancy caps on either end.  It is just gorgeous!  The inside is newly relined in a deep blue to match the blue in the beads and is finished with a lovely french silk rose trim.  The fringe is beautifully done in interlocking twisted beads in the colors of the purse with black, blue, turquoise, lilac, and silver.  Condition is excellent with possibly a bead or two missing but I honestly don't see any.  The right corner malachite stone has a slight chip on it that I didn't notice until now mainly because it doesn't show up easily and can be felt more than seen.  This is a very large purse measuring 7-1/4" wide at the frame x 8-1/4" wide at the bottom x almost 16" long from clasp to fringe.

I have had this fabulous purse in my personal collection since 2009 and it is a design I have seen only on compacts; I have never had it on a purse.  The scene is taken from a famous painting done by Nicolas Lancret in 1730 entitled "La Camargo Dancing".  The frame is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen with it's high "crown" jeweled clasp.  There are enameled accents between the gemstones which are in varying shapes and colors.  The interior is lined in original green silk with ruched pocket and coin purse ... the lining does have several splits but it is still intact overall.  The fringe is lushly done in twisted interlocking loops in the colors of the purse.  The beads on the purse are in different sizes and this is done for contrast (see close-ups).  The body of the purse is in very good condition overall.  As for apologies, there aren't many but I will point out what I know.  There is a very early repair done right beneath the lady's elbow on the front left side which will be visible in the close-ups. There is one tiny jewel missing in the center of the enameled daisy on the right top corner.  There are some areas of enamel loss in the frame which aren't obvious unless you are looking for them.  The clasp when viewed from the side tilts forward at an angle.  For whatever reason, this is the way it was made and it looks perfectly fine from the front. The purse is a nice size measuring  Measures 7-1/2" wide x almost 12" long from top of clasp to bottom of fringe.

This is a stunning figural beaded purse and one of the finest I've ever seen.  The beads are so tiny they defy counting ... look like tiny pin spots of color!  This is an exceptionally large purse ... the size is 8" wide at the frame and almost 13" long to bottom of fringe.  This is one of those purses that leaves tiny areas unbeaded to give contrast and dimension ... this can be seen in the enlarged close-up ... look closely at the girl's skirt.  This is not bead loss but rather a method of knitting the purse to deliberately give it depth of design.  The colors are all vivid and bright and I can't say enough about it.  Look at the intricately twisted fringe that picks up colors from the purse ... just gorgeous!  Pictures speak for themselves on this one ...

This is a truly stunning beaded purse picturing a canal scene with buildings and boats.  Lush and vivid colors  with just about every shade being used.  Scene is set in a carpet border design of diamonds  in different colors and designs.  The frame is richly filigreed on both sides and is topped off with a large filigree crown jeweled clasp that is a killer!  Interior is lined in black silk with gold trim.  Beadwork on front is in perfect condition; back has an early professional repair to the building on the back side ... very well done and barely noticeable.  This is a wonderful purse that would enhance even the finest collection.   Measures 6" wide at frame, 7" wide at bottom, and almost 12" long from clasp to fringe.

This stunning purse was just acquired from a fellow collector ... it is a country scene featuring the Pied Piper of Hamlin with his flute, several animals, and a lady with her dog.  The frame is one of the prettiest I have seen with alternating blue and red stones and jewel-toned enameling draping between them.  Matching blue jewels set off the clasp.  Interior is lined in pale peach silk with matching braided trim.   The lush, thick fringe is done in green and blue tightly twisted interlocking beaded loops.   This beautiful purse is in mint condition to my eye ... not a single thing wrong!   Measures 7-7/8" wide x 11-3/4" long.
