Ornate Jeweled Purse Frame with Crown Enameled Jeweled Clasp

Details:  Beautifully filigreed overlays across top and on crown clasp, two crescent shaped filigrees on each corner.  Three malachite jewels and 14 colorful gemstones adorn this frame.  The top and left malachite have a chip and a crack that can be felt rather than seen as they are still intact.  Enamel decoration on pendant and surround on clasp. Nice rope chain double handle. Sew holes all the way around.
Condition: Other than the malachite stones having some damage, the clasp is a bit weak and will sometimes fall open.  Someone tried to reinforce it with glue on the back. I would use this for a purse you plan to display rather than use.

DOUBLE-Sided Jeweled Purse Frame with Dozens of Bezel-Set Jewels and Lapis Blue Jeweled Clasp

Details:  Beautifully filigreed and openwork brass frame encrusted with gemstones of varying colors and sizes bezel set in and around enameled flowers and leaves.  Clasp is a kiss clasp with two lapis jewels.  Both sides of the frame are identical with jewels abounding on both. Nice heavy chainlink handle to complete it.
Condition: Excellent. There are so many jewels on this that I honestly can't tell if there are any missing or not.  If there are, they would only be in the tiniest of flower centers.  None of the gems outside of the flowers are missing.  It is truly outstanding.

Details:  Openwork frame with 7 bezel set jewels -- 4 round jade, 1 deep lapis blue diamond, and 2 red diamond shape.  The clasp is a very large lapis blue cone shape.  I know the 4 jade stones are genuine but I cannot say for sure about the others although they feel real to me. 
Condition: There is no handle, metal has a bit of rust on the back side that could probably be brushed off (I have not attempted to do that).  Outside is in good condition.  This is a dark gunmetal color frame that will remain this color; in other words, it is not brass and cannot be polished.  It will retain it's antique patina.

Two large serpent heads form the clasp. Tarnishes and polishes like silver but there are no silver markings on it.
Condition: Excellent throughout.  There is a slight bend to the right side of the frame (tapers inward at bottom) which may be able to be pulled out, I have not tried to do that. 
Markings: Inside frame is marked Made in France.

Details:  21 amethyst jewels total!  Each amethyst is set in an openwork flower. Back of frame is the same but there are not jewels. No sew holes per se but the openwork flowers could easily be used to sew a purse into. Otherwise there is a channel that the purse body can be pushed into. The channel is 1/8" in depth.
Condition: There is a chainlink handle with this but it does have rust so I would replace it. Frame clasp, top and side edges have some oxidation which might be able to be polished off. I have not tried.

Details:  This frame is being sold for the JEWELS ONLY as the frame is bent beyond repair.  The frame features two beautiful oval cabochon malachite jewels on either corner, four emerald jewels, and six amber jewels. The malachite stones are a tad over 5/8" long and the amber stones are a tad under 1/2" long.

Note: The amber stones have dark areas in them so they may be genuine amber; I have not tested them but they are all different so could possibly be real. Check out the pictures and you be the judge :-)

Details:  Very ornate openwork filigreed frame in brass with real gemstone jewels set on both sides.  The frame is for a clutch style purse as there is no place to attach a handle.  The top sides have snaps that fold over to hold the frame closed.  There are 3 jewels on the front plus 2 more on the snaps.  The back side of the frame has 5 jewels.  I am not sure what they are ... possibly turquoise and carnelian?  The reddish ones are marquis shaped and the turquoise are round.  The frame does show verdigris which I choose to leave as is.  There is some slight bending to the inner portion where the sew holes are but this would be covered up by the purse so is not an issue at all.  Not sure of the age of this but I feel it is definitely 1800's.

Details:  This is a stunning solid cast brass frame richly embossed with full figured cherubs ... 5 on each side.  And while it has sew holes all the way around, it does have problems which preclude it's use for a purse.  One of the ball clasp closures is missing completely and the chainlink holders are both on the same half of the frame, so it won't ever stay shut.  However, it would be a fantastic picture frame for a beaded scene from a purse that is incomplete or a needlepoint or petitpoint scene.  This could be mounted by either stitching to the frame (click on the small open picture to see the frame close-up) or gluing to the back side and then simply hanging by the two handle rings.  It would be a truly unique, one-of-a-kind frame!  This is an extremely heavy piece of solid brass.
