White Shoulders and Most Precious Colognes by Evyan Perfumes in Original Presentation Box

This "Surprise" cologne set by Evyan Perfumes comes in a presentation box with two bottles of cologne inside -- White Shoulders and Most Precious.  Each bottle contains 1 fl. oz.  Both look to be barely used if at all (evaporation does occur so these may be unused).  There would have been a third bottle in the center but that is missing.  This would be a great gift for someone or even to enjoy yourself if you collect vintage perfumes and colognes.  They both still smell great and the box is in very good condition.  The Evyan logo is on the lid as seen in the photos.  The box measures 7-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/2".

Fabulous RARE Dragonfly Art Glass Perfume Pendant with Sterling Silver Cap and Chain by Roth Gilvey - MINT Condition!

This beautiful figural art glass perfume bottle features a dragonfly on one side and yellow gladiolas on the other.  The background is an iridescent purple and green on the top with color gradiating to teal blue at the bottom.  The dragonfly, flowers and grass appear to be applied to the bottle.  It is absolutely fantastic!  The cap screws on and has a twisted silver dauber.  The bottle top is signed "STER" for sterling and Roth Gilvey, presumably the artist who created it.  It comes with a very substantial sterling silver chain which is also marked "925" for sterling.  This has been a cherished part of my perfume collection and one I am reluctant to part with but I think I'm ready ;-).  Bottle measures 2-1/2" from cap to tip.  The silver chain measures 34" in length. It is in absolutely pristine condition.

Whimsical Figural Perfume Bottle with Hand-Painted Wooden Cap and Ruffled Collar - Very Cute!

This adorable little glass perfume bottle is topped by a wooden cap with hand-painted features of a rosy-cheeked lass with heart-shaped lips and ruffled collar.  Just look at those eyelashes!  There is minor wear to the paint, mostly on the back and top; the face is pretty much perfect.  Not sure where or who it was made by but there is a mark on the bottom which appears to be an S over a T.  If anyone recognizes this, please let me know.  Measures 2-3/4" tall.  The cap is 1-1/8" tall.  Perfect size for your purse.

Gorgeous Diamond-Shaped Double-Sided Enamel Guilloche Sterling Silver Perfume by Thomae

This gorgeous little sterling silver diamond-shaped purse perfume has full baby-blue enamel guilloche on both sides.  The front has hand-painted roses in the center and the edges have embosssed designs.  Made by Thomae, the little cap unscrews with a dauber attached for the perfume.  The designs in the guilloche background are just beautiful and the back looks like a snowflake. Hallmarks are on the bottom right smooth area between the embossed designs.   It is in excellent condition.  Measures 1-3/16" square not counting the stopper.  From top to bottom it measures 1-3/4".

Lovely Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Guilloche Cap by Albert Carter, 1928

Such a pretty little perfume bottle and just the right size to tuck into your purse!  This lovely cut crystal perfume has a sterling silver cap topped with blue enamel guilloche.  It was made in Birmingham by Albert Carter and the date code is from 1928.  It is in excellent condition and has a polished bottom.  Hallmarks can be found on the rim of the cap.  I will include a small cork stopper to fit inside the lid as it probably had one originally.  Measures 1-3/4" across x about 1/2" wide x 2-1/4" high.

Victorian Moser or Czech Cobalt Glass Chatelaine Perfume with Hand Painted Enamel Design

This beautiful antique cobalt glass perfume flacon or scent bottle more than likely originated in Czechoslovakia in the Moser style.  It is cobalt glass with gold gilt and enameled designs hand-painted on glass itself.  The findings are brass ormolu and the cap has etched designs on it.  The tip of the perfume has a rough feel to it like a pontil was broken off which would make it hand blown.  Even though it feels a bit rough, I don't believe it is a chip or damage of any kind as the painting goes into it (see close-ups).  There is a beaded chain and a twisted finger ring or loop to attach to a chatelaine.  The beaded chain broke many years ago and was reattached with very old string which has aged to the same color as the brass.  Cap opens to reveal a (newly replaced) cork stopper.  Very minor wear to the paint and it is in excellent condition overall for its age.   This is a most unusual and highly collectible perfume. Measures 3-5/8" when measured from cap to tip, 5-1/2" long from ring to tip.  It is about 1" wide at the widest point..

Gold Gilt White Double Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Roses

This is a beautiful little double enamel guilloche perfume in snowy white with pink roses on the center and four edges. The guilloche pattern is done in a beautiful design that shows through the white background. The back has undecorated white enamel guilloche in the same design as the front. The shape of the bottle itself is rectangular with rounded corners and the edges are all embossed in acanthus leaves. Cap unscrews and has a dauber attached. Enameling is all excellent with no chips or damage of any kind. Some of the gold gilt finish is worn on the edges (it will look more silver in the photos) but is mostly intact. Unmarked.  Measures 2-1/4" long (counting cap) x 1-5/16" wide.

Sterling Silver Purple Plum Enamel Guilloche Vinaigrette Pendant

This is a sweet little egg-shaped sterling silver purple plum enamel guilloche pendant vinaigrette hanging ring to wear as a pendant.  It unscrews to place perfumed cotton inside.  The inside crossbar is marked "STERLING" although it is very hard to read without a loupe.  Unfortunately, there is some enamel loss along one side which I believe could be touched up very easily with a matching enamel (possibly nail polish?) or just wear it with that side facing the back.  I love the striped design in the enameling ... gives it a different appearance instead of just a solid color.  Very pretty! Measures approximately 1" long including ring at top.

RARE Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Tropical Scene - Gorgeous!

This is an extremely rare and gorgeous little purse perfume featuring a hand-painted scene of a mansion in a tropical setting with palm tres and a courtyard in the foreground.  I have never seen another even remotely close to this one ... it is just stunning!  Done on sterling silver, the front and back are both in guilloche enamel.  While the front has the hand-painted scene with several different guilloche patterns showing through, the back is done in solid whitein a radiating spider web design.  Overall the enameling is in perfect condition and the silver is smooth and undented with the exception of a teeny little one on the bottom edge. Embossed designs surround the guilloche on both sides. The screw-on cap has a dauber attached for applying the perfume.  Measures 1-5/8" high x 1" wide.

1800's Figural Gilded Porcelain Perfume / Scent Bottle with Romantic Skating Couple

Gorgeous early porcelain perfume or scent bottle with figural scene of a romantic couple clad in fur-trimmed outfits skating together.  Their outfits are reminiscent of Russian clothing of that era.  The bottle is a pale green teardrop shape with some raised gilt flourishes surrounding the scene in the center although much of the gilt is worn off.  The perfume has a gold chain which attaches to little rings on either side but the chain is broken.  I assume this could be soldered by a jeweler but I have not had this done.  The brass cap covers the glass stopper inside.  The porcelain is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks or hairlines of any kind.  The brass fittings have a beautiful rich patina from age and I would advise against polishing.  This gorgeous little bottle measures 3-1/2" from cap to tip x 7/8" wide.

Sterling Silver Petite Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume by Thomae with Hand-Painted Flowers

This beautiful little purse perfume is done in white enamel guilloche on sterling silver and was made by Thomae, one of the pre-eminent manufacturers of gorgeous lady's items from the early 20th century.  This one has a very unique cap that I have never seen before ... it is an open "tube" where you can hang it from a cord or chain.  This unscrews to reveal a long dauber.  Both sides are done in white enamel guilloche with a hand-painted rose and forget-me-not at the bottom.  It is signed Sterling and bears the hallmarks for Thomae on the base.  This perfume is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever.  Measures 2-1/2" long x approx. 1/2" wide.

Sterling Silver Petite Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Roses Made in Germany

Here is a very rare gorgeous little enamel guilloche purse perfume done in pale aqua enamel guilloche on a sterling silver base.  It has a hand-painted pink rose on the front and pink rosebuds and leaves scattered around the perimeter.  It has a push-button top for dispensing a drop at a time and it is totally functional.  The hallmarks are very hard to find but around the push button can be seen letters for STERLING and GERMANY.  Overall this perfume is in excellent condition.  Measures a bit over 2-1/8" long x approx. 1/2" diameter at the widest point..

Sterling Silver (?) Petite Art Deco Enameled Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Forget-Me-Not

This is a lovely little Art Deco influenced petite purse perfume beautifully done in green and ivory enamel with a hand-painted blue forget-me-not on the front.  There is a cartouche where a monogram couold be added if desired.  The cap unscrews and has a long attached dauber.  I believe it is sterling silver and the word STERLING was attempted to be stamped into the cap but all that can be made our are the vertical lines so I can't swear to it but I'm 99% sure it is. There are a few dark marks below the cartouche where enamel just missed but these are not chips as the surface is smooth so it is just the way it was made.  Very cute and functional piece.  Measures 1-5/8" long x 13/16" wide.

Pr. Beautiful Ornate Cranberry Glass Bohemian Perfumes with Gilt Foliate Decoration

Here is a gorgeous pair of Bohemian cranberry glass perfume bottles with gold gilt decoration. I believe the perfumes were originally cased in white and then cut back to the cranberry as all of the white portions are raised up giving the cross-hatched sections beveled sides. Each little white square has a gold gilt dot on it! The tops are beautifully done as well with the cranberry glass deep inside and the white cut away to reveal it; yet the daubers are clear! Amazing! These are also embellished with gold gilt. The tops of the bottles are slightly different, probably to differentiate between perfume and cologne.  Condition is excellent on both with very minor wear to some of the gilt. One of the top rims on one of the perfume bottles has a dip in the edge that is factory made as it is finished over it. Measure 5-1/4" overall.

Beautiful Rainbow Crystal Perfume Atomizer by Marcel Franck, Paris with Original Tag & Label - MINT Condition!

This gorgeous vintage perfume atomizer is done in a rainbow crystal glass with a pedestal base and was made by Marcel Franck of Paris.  Based on the design of the filigreed atomizer on this bottle, it was made anywhere from the 1920's to the 1960's*.  The bottle retains its original paper label reading Marcel Franck and a sticker on the glass that reads Cristal.  It is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks or damage of any kind.  There is some residue around the filigreed atomizer where you push it in and I have not tried to clean it because I can feel air coming out so I know it works.  There is no residue inside the bottle or the glass tube at all; it is very clean.  Bottom is polished.  This is a gorgeous bottle that will really stand out in a collection!  It is in mint condition and measures approximately 3" across x 2-1/4" wide x 3-1/4" high.

Rare Pink Schuco Mohair Monkey Perfume Bottle Circa 1920's

This adorable little mohair monkey was made by Schuco around 1929.  The feet, ears and hands are shaped felt and the face is metal with light flocking on it (some age appropriate wear).  The head lifts off to expose a hidden glass perfume bottle with original glass stopper with dauber intact. However, the neck of the bottle has a chip broken out of it that goes deep enough into the bottle that it will not hold liquid securely (although I can't imagine anyone wanting to do that!).  The entire bottle can be removed from the body.  Normally the mohair on these shows quite a bit of moth damage but this one is in pretty good condition with minimal loss ... just a section on his back that is visible in the photos. Face has minimal wear also as shown in photos. The felt ears, feet and hands are all in great shape.  Measures 3-1/2" tall. 

First time offered! It has been in my personal collection since 1999!

1800's Chatelaine Figural Gilded Porcelain Perfume / Scent Bottle with Romantic Skating Couple

Gorgeous early chatelaine perfume or scent bottle with figural scene of a romantic couple clad in fur-trimmed outfits skating together.  Their outfits are reminiscent of Russian clothing of that era. The figures are backed in gold gilt and the body of the bottle is blue porcelain teardrop shape.  The perfume is suspended on a beaded brass chain with a tiny ring to attach it to a chatelaine.  The brass cap covers the (replaced) cork stopper inside.  The bottle is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks or hairlines of any kind.  There is some very minimal wear to the high spots on the gold embellishments but this just gives it even more character and beauty and I consider it part of the patina of the overall item.  The brass fittings also have a beautiful rich patina from age and I would advise against polishing.  This gorgeous little bottle measures 3-1/2" from cap to tip x 7/8" wide.  From top of ring to bottom it measures almost 5-3/4". The ring is about 5/8" diameter.

White Enamel Guilloche Vinaigrette Pendant with Hand-Painted Roses and Matching Enamel Guilloche Link Y-Chain

This is just a lovely little ball-shaped white enamel guilloche pendant vinaigrette with hand-painted roses around the top and bottom halves ... very unusual to find these with any type of flowers or decoration on them. It comes with a matching Y shape chainlink necklace with four enamel guilloche links with hand-painted roses on each.  The links appear to have a pale green background but it is very very light and looks great with the perfume.  It is the chain that came with it when I bought it and I am keeping it together.  The openwork around the center of the vinaigrette is exceptionally pretty.  It is more than likely sterling, but since I could not find a hallmark on it, I am selling as "probably".  It is in absolutely perfect condition!   Measures a tad over 3/4" diameter and the Y chain drop is 10-1/2" overall..

Rare Hand-Painted Floral Enamel Guilloche Bronze Perfume Caddy by Lenk of Austria

This gorgeous Austrian cut crystal 3-perfume bottle set is carefully shaped and fitted in a beautiful yellow enamel guilloche holder with hand-painted roses on gilt bronze.  Each bottle has a yellow enamel guilloche collar on gilt bronze.  Signed LENK AUSTRIA on bottom.  The stoppers are also cut crystal and have attached daubers (one is broken off).  All of the pieces have polished bottoms.  Circa 1900 - 1920, it is in pretty good condition for its age.  All of the bottlese are water-tight and will hold perfume.  Other than the one dauber broken, there is a bit of loss inside the necks (doesn't affect use).  Two of the bottles have chips along the edge that I didn't notice until I was feeling them.  I will try to include a photo to show it.  All in all, the set is very beautiful and the flaws really don't show at all unless you know where to look. Similar sets like this have sold for upwards of $400 ... I am pricing mine accordingly to the imperfections.   Enameling is is very good condition with no obvious chips or dings.  Measures almost 5" diameter at the base of the caddy.  The bottles are 2-5/8" wide x 4-1/4" high not counting stoppers.  One stopper is taller than the other two (perhaps to denote perfume as opposed to cologne?).  Overall heights are 5-3/8" and 5-5/8". Height of caddy with perfumes inside is almost 6-1/2".

Rare Hand-Painted Floral Enamel Guilloche Bronze Perfume Caddy Made in Czechoslovakia

This is another of the perfume caddies I am offering.  Featuring three rounded perfume bottles that fit snugly into a bronze base finished in blue enamel guilloche with hand-painted roses all around and three little bun feet.  Each perfume bottle is topped with a screw cap and have glass stoppers inside.  The lids each have a different color of enamel guilloche with hand-painted flowers.  All of the bottoms are polished and have acid marked "Made in Czecholoslovakia". There is a spot of missing enamel on the red lid and a chip to the enamel on the pink lid; but other than that, all of the enamel is in great shape.  Two of the bottles have fractures inside the thick glass ... I have tested each of these and they are completely water tight and do not leak at all so they are totally usable.  Priced according to condition.  The base measures almost 3-1/2" diameter x 1-5/8" higih.  The perfume bottles are 2-3/4" wide x 4-1/4" high.  Overall the set is 4-3/4" high.

Fabulous Tiny Jeweled Perfume Bottle with Overlay of Cupids with Bows on Each Side

I have never seen another perfume bottle this tiny with this much detail!  The bottle itself is a scant 7/8" high and is made of glass but has an overlay of four full-bodied Cupids with bows drawn and ready on each side.  The cap adds another 5/8" to the overall height of 1-1/2" and is set with a bright sapphire jewel in the top.  There are no markings that I can find on the piece and there are still traces of perfume inside.  It could use a better cleaning but I will leave that to the next owner.  I have polished it just enough to show the detail.  The bottle is 5/8" square and with the cupids it is 7/8" square.  It's a really gorgeous little piece and could be used in your purse today.

Filigreed Ormolu Perfume Bottle with Carved Lapis Jewels and Enamel Accents

This lovely perfume bottle is completely encased in filigreed brass ormolu with enameled accents and stunning lapis jewels, four of which are carved into roses. It is just stunning! The cap unscrews and still retains its glass dauber in perfect condition. The bottle seals tight and has no damage whatsoever. The enamel accents are on all sides. It is a beautiful piece. Although it is unmarked, if I had to guess, I would say it was from France. Measures 1-1/4" wide x 3/4" deep x 2" high.

Sterling Silver Aqua Blue Enamel Guilloche Perfume Made in Austria ~ Mint Condition!

Here we have a darling little sterling silver aqua blue enamel guilloche purse perfume made in Austria.  The fittings are all sterling silver and it bears assay marks for Austria. It also says STERLING and Made In Aus on the cap.  The assay mark has the initials "LW" and 925 but I have been unable to trace the LW name.  If anyone knows, please feel free to message me.  The cap is not threaded but it does fit snugly and will stay secure. Inside there is a glass dauber in perfect condition.  Overall this entire piece is in excellent shape with no apologies whatsoever.  It is totally usable if someone would choose to do so. Measures 2-3/8" long.

Sterling Silver Matching Purse Perfume and Lipstick with Chased Flowers

In all my years of collecting, I have never had another matched set like this one.  Both pieces are sterling silver with chased flowers and flowing scrollwork in the manner of the Italian sterling compact case makers.  However, the only marks on these pieces are for sterling "925" and a strange combination of letters that I cannot make out clearly enough to identify. Both pieces are in pristine condition ... there is still lipstick inside of the lipstick case.  Perfume measures 2" diameter not counting cap.  Lipstick is 2-1/8" high.  It is a beautiful set!

Crystal Jean Patou "Joy" Perfume Bottle in Presentation Box

"Joy" perfume was, at one time, the costliest perfume in the world!  Created after the Great Depression in Paris, the perfume was said to require over 10,000 jasmine flowers and 28 dozen roses to create one ounce!  No wonder it was so expensive!  The bottle was done in three designs, this one being done in cut crystal by Baccarat.  While the perfume is long gone (traces still linger inside for you to sniff), the bottle itself is in perfect condition and still nestles snugly in its pale yellow velvety lined box.  The shiny gold label on the front is also in perfect condition and there is an incised JP on the lid and all other identification marks etched clearly on the bottom.  It is a beautiful bottle and a real keepsake.  The bottle itself measures 3" across x a bit over 1-1/2" wide x 3" high.  The box is approximately 5-1/2" square x 2" high.

Early English Hand-Painted Gilt Porcelain Scent Bottle Dated 1888 with Sterling Silver Cap

This charming little scent bottle dates from 1888 (British registry number is stamped right on the bottom which dates it to that year, so it is 130 years old!!!)  The age of this piece and the fact that it has survived intact is remarkable indeed!  Obviously it was a treasured heirloom all those years.  The bottle is hand-painted completely around all sides and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.  It is topped with a sterling silver screw-on cap which bears Birmingham hallmarks dating from 1912. More than likely the bottle was made and was not actually manufactured into a perfume bottle until the company making the tops actually produced it.  But both pieces are obviously original to the piece.   All of the paint and gilt is in perfect condition.  The bottle itself has very faint crazing which one would expect in a piece this old, but it is totally usable should one wish to do that (I would never ... the piece is too valuable to me to risk breaking it but that is my opinion).  The gold gilt actually has raised veins in the leaves which can be seen as well as felt.  This is a truly stunning piece that deserves a prominent spot in any perfume bottle collection.  Measures a tad over 2-1/2" high x 1-5/8" wide x 3/4" deep at top side (tapers narrower at bottom ... see pics).

Etched Crystal Miniature Perfume with Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Top

This adorable diminutive little perfume bottle will make the sweetest addition to your vanity!  It is exquisitely etched with delicate flowers around the crystal bottle with a flanged base.  The stopper is sterling silver with a soft radiant baby blue enamel guilloche top.  The metal dauber is in excellent condition as is the entire bottle.  There is one tiny spot of perfume on the inside that I have not tried to remove ... will leave that up to you.  The cap is marked "STERLING" and a hallmark that I cannot identify.*  This tiny little perfume measures only 1-1/4" high.  The base is 7/8" diameter and the cap is about 3/8" diameter.  It is a little jewel for sure!

*According to Tom from Marks4Antiques, "Because it is so partially visible and practically indistinguishable, my best guess is for the French "crab" assay hallmark. This symbol was used by assayers in non-metropolitan areas of France to confirm the purity of silver. It was rather generic and many items bearing this symbol usually did not have a maker's mark since most were made for others as parts to a larger piece (as in this case). Also, the French are renowned for their glass & crystal production, so this theory makes sense. The only other possibility, in my opinion, is that it was made in Austria. In either case, the safest way to attribute the origin of this item is to call it 'Continental European'. I would date it to around 1890s - 1920s."

Etched Crystal Perfume with Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Top by Thomae

Here is another gorgeous piece by Thomae ... a sweet little perfume bottle with a sterling silver cap with pink enamel guilloche top.  The bottle is beautifully etched and has a very pretty shape to it.  The dauber is still affixed to the stopper and is in perfect condition as it the rest of the bottle.  There are no apologies whatsoever!  It is marked "STERLING" and bears the hallmark for Thomae on the sterling neck of the cap.  It's a nice smaller size as well that won't overwhelm your vanity ... it measures 3-1/4" tall; the base is 1-1/4" diameter and the cap is just a hair over 3/4" diameter.  It is a little treasure!

Pr. Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Topped Crystal Perfume Bottles from Birmingham, England

Here is a very pretty set of crystal perfume bottles with green enamel guilloche sterling silver tops.  Both were made in Birmingham, England, but the tops were made by two different companies even though it is obvious the bases are pretty much identical.  I think perhaps the reason for this may have been the design in the guilloche which could have been used to differentiate between perfume and cologne.  The bottle on the left in the photo was made by Collins & Cook circa 1920 and it has a smaller well inside.  The bottle on the right was made by A. J. Pepper & Co. circa 1920's.  This one has a bigger compartment inside.  Both bottles screw on tightly but there are no stoppers.  If I can find small corks to put inside, I will include them with purchase.  The enameling is in mint condition on both bottles.  These are a great set and fit perfectly in your purse!  The crystal is also excellent with no chips or cracks; both have polished bottoms.  The bottles are ever so slightly different in size as well.  The one on the left measures 3-1/16" tall x 3/4" diameter.  The one on the right measures just a hair smaller in both directions (probably 1/32" difference).

Sterling Silver Crystal Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Enamel Guilloche Top by G. H. French Co.

This beautiful little crystal perfume bottle was made right here in the U.S. by G. H. French Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts (this mark was used in the 1920's and 1930's).  The crystal bottle has a polished bottom and a stopper with dauber attached.  The most attractive thing about this bottle is the adorable enamel guilloche on sterling silver screw-on cap with hand-painted pink roses.  It is just so pretty!  The bottle has few apologies, neither of which affects the bottle structurally.  There is a sliver of enamel missing right on the edge of the lid which, quite honestly, I didn't even notice till I took the supersized close-ups for this listing.  The neck of the bottle has a chip in it but the stopper seats down below that and I have tested it for leaks.  It holds perfume perfectly with nary a drip!  So it is totally usable should you choose to do that.  Or just place it on a shelf and admire it as I have.  It's really a beautiful little bottle!   Measures just 2-3/4" tall x 3/4" diameter at the base.

Early Hand-Enameled Porcelain Perfume Bottle with Jeweled Cloisonné Screw-on Cap

I just love the delicate details on this lovely early perfume with its extraordinary jeweled cloisonné cap.  Both front and back are basically the same with shaped finger holds molded into the sides.  But each side is decorated differently.  It is truly a unique piece and unlike any I have seen before.  I am not sure of the age as there is no mark on it at all but I believe it is a very early piece, possibly as early as first half of the 19th century.  The piece is crazed but not discolored in any way and to me this is like fine age marks and do not bother me whatsoever.  The enamel and the gold trim are in excellent condition with the only loss being the tips of the gold on the sides where the finger holds are.  The top of the cap is done in cloisonné with a ruby jewel on the very tip.  The inside of the cap is set with cork which seals the bottle completely from leakage so it is totally usable.  What a gorgeous piece!  Be sure to look at all the pics to see how unique it truly is.   Overall the piece measures 4-3/8" tall x 1-3/4" wide at the widest points (finger holds) by 1" deep when lying flat.

Beautiful French Etched Glass Perfume Bottle with 18Kt Gold French Niello Cap with Swallow

This beautiful etched glass perfume bottle was made in France and bears the Eagle's Head Guarantee Hallmark for 18 kt gold.  The bottle portion has lovely etched ribbons and flowers typically found on pieces from Victorian times.  I was told this piece was made in the 1860's when I purchased it; however, the maker's mark couldn't be read.  The hallmarks are found on the rim of the cap and were researched by Marks4Antiques.com (their email will be included with the piece) which determined the 18kt gold stamp.  The cap is done in Niello and has a carved swallow.  When you lift the cap which is hinged, there is a glass stopper inside which fits snugly and is in excellent condition.  The bottom of the bottle is polished and is in great condition as well.  The top of the cap shows some wear to the Niello but not that noticeable unless looking for it.  I have tried to include a picture but it was hard to get an accurate view since it is only visible when holding at a certain angle.  Overall the piece measures 2-3/4" tall x 3/4" diameter.

Combination compact/perfumes are exceptionally rare and much sought after by collectors.  This one is a lovely shade of lilac or lavender with an exquisite guilloche pattern on both the front and the back.  The compact opens to reveal a mirror in the lid which is still in excellent condition and an open powder well in the base.  It is marked STERLING SILVER and AUSTRIA on the inside bottom of the powder well. The enameling on the compact is in very good condition with some minute scratches/scuffs visible when held to light at an angle. There is a very teeny flake on the back side that can barely be noticed and even then you have to really hunt for it (I had not seen it prior to listing it and I couldn't get it to show up in pics either). It is priced to reflect condition.  The cap is a screw-on type.  Overall, considering the rarity of these pieces, I couldn't pass it up.  Measures almost 2" diameter x 2-3/8" high to top of cap.

FABULOUS RARE Art Deco Multi-Jeweled Tango Compact and Matching Atarmist Perfume Set by Evans in Original Presentation Box - with Instructions!

This gorgeous set has been a prize in my personal collection for many years (since 2007) and has never been offered for sale before.  I hardly know where to begin to describe it ... so let's start with the original presentation box by Evans, lined in green silk with label inside lid, the original felt-lined sleeves to protect both pieces, and the original instructions for filling and operating the Atarmist perfume.  Now for the pieces:  Both pieces feature lovely art deco gazelles inlaid with marcasites and surrounded in black, green and ivory enamel.  The back of both pieces have a very pretty embossed design.  The tango compact has an attached lipstick case which is double-jeweled with marcasites on either end.  The lipstick inside is completely removable.  The compact has a tap powder well on one side and a covered rouge pot on the other.  Both have their original puffs and the rouge has the original Mayfair refill paper.  Now about the Atarmist:  this piece is in excellent condition as well with a wee bit of wear to the ivory enamel due to age.  The original paper instructions clearly show you how to fill and use this unique perfume.  All marcasites are present; however, on the Atarmist there are two sections (one at the end of the ivory enamel and one on the back leg of the gazelle) where there is a different bead design.  It appears to be original to the way it was made as there is no indication of any missing jewels there.  And since the compact doesn't have it in the ivory section, I assume it was made this way.  The compact measures 2" square with the lipstick case being 2-1/8" long.  The Atarmist is 1-3/8" x 1-7/8" high.

Beautiful Sterling Silver Vermeil Mounted Cut Glass Perfume with Hand-Painted Portrait

This stunning scent bottle is unique in its teardrop shape with zipper and diamond cuts in the glass.  The sterling silver vermeil etched hinged cap is set with a domed glass covered miniature portrait with blue and white enamel frame.  The original cork stopper is still inside the cap which snaps closed nicely.  It is a truly gorgeous piece in excellent condition throughout.  Measures 3" long x 1-1/4" wide x 3/4' deep.  The portrait cap is a bit over 3/4" diameter, not quite 7/8".

Gorgeous Sterling Silver Chatelaine Perfume with Hand-Painted Portrait

This beautiful sterling silver perfume was meant to be hung on a chatelaine for a very elegant lady, perhaps even the lady whose portrait was lovingly hand-painted on the front.  It is devoid of any frills or fancy embellishments, leaving the lovely lady as the center of attention and focus.  The cap screws on tightly to seal the perfume inside.  The only mark is the word "Sterling" on the bottom edge.  I have taken many photos of this item as polished sterling such as this tends to reflect like a mirror and shows a lot of distortions so it is hard to get an accurate picture.  The silver is in excellent condition and only has a the most minor scratches or scuffs which, considering its age, are really insignicant.  This gorgeous little bottle measures 2-1/8" from cap to tip x 1-1/8" wide.  From top of ring to bottom it measures 3-3/8".

Sterling Silver Double Enamel Guilloche Chatelaine Perfume

This is a simple but elegant sterling silver chatelaine perfume with double-sided light teal (aqua green) enamel guilloche.  The little cap screws on securely ... there is no dauber, just the cap. The bottle is large and would hold a fair amount of perfume measuring a full 2" diameter.  The sterling stamp (935) can be found on one of the rings on the side where the chain is attached ... too small for me to get a clear photo.  There were no maker's marks so I assume this is American made rather than British.  It is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches whatsoever.  It is a beautiful piece!  With the chain, it measures 4-1/2" long.

Sterling Silver Shaped Purse Perfume with Green Catalin Lid, Tassel, and Incised Carving ... Very Unique!

This is an extremely rare find ... in all my years of collecting, I have never seen another like it!  The beautifully shaped perfume is made of sterling silver and boasts a "cut" catalin cap with an attached black silk tassel. There are incised carvings on both the front and back and bottom edge.  The cap unscrews and has an attached dauber which bears the hallmarks for the piece.  Because the stamp is unclear, I am not certain exactly who manufactured the piece but the stamp resembles the arrow shaped hallmark used by American maker Webster.  There is a monogram in the center of the design on the front side, but both sides are equally lovely so it could be displayed with either side up.  No damage whatsoever!  Measures 1-7/8" across x 1-1/2" high not counting cap.  To top of cap it is 2-1/8" high.  Tassel is 4-3/4" when stretched out.  The body is slightly pillow shaped so the thickness at the center is about 3/8".

Sweet Little Double Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Rosebuds and Push-Button Cap

This adorable little purse perfume is done in double enamel guilloche on a copper base metal which gives the enamel a peachy glow.  Both front and back have an apricot enamel guilloche and the front is embellished with hand-painted rosebuds in an offset design rarely found on these ... usually the florals are set in the center or in a symmetric pattern.  The cap screws on tightly and has a push-button dispenser for easy application.  A bit of verdigris also shows through from the copper under base.  Enameling is all in great shape with exception of one tiny pin prick on the upper left corner.  It has been sealed so should be good from here on out.  Prie reflects condition.  Measures 1-1/8" across x 2-1/8" high to tip of cap.

Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Petite Pendant Perfume with Hand-Painted Roses

This beautifully done petite perfume was meant to be worn on a chain as a pendant or on a chatelaine.  There are little rings on either side to attach a necklace.  This lovely oval shaped perfume is done in a lovely shade of aqua enamel guilloche with hand-painted pink roses and an ornately embossed border.  The reverse side is polished silver with ornately monogrammed initials and the same embossed border.   The cap unscrews and has a long attached dauber.  The enamel guilloche is all in excellent condition. The only mark is STERLING stamped across the lid.  Measures 3/4" wide at center x 2-3/4" long overall.

Scenic Hand-Painted Porcelain Scent Bottle Featuring the Cologne Cathedral in Cologne, Germany with Chatelaine Ring

This beautiful hand-painted perfume bottle features a hand-painted scene of the Cologne Cathedral in Cologne, Germany.  It is an iconic landmark that was begun in 1248 and finished in 1880.  Although it was heavily damaged in WWII, it was restored to its former glory and still stands today.  This lovely bottle has the cathedral on the front bordered by an overlay of what appear to be tarnished silver.  The sides and back of the bottle are a royal purple ... very rich and elegant.  The neck and cap as well as the beaded chain and ring are a gold metal, most likely brass.  It is in excellent condition for its age and bears no damage whatsoever.  The overlay is tarnished and has a nice patina which I choose to leave as found.  I guesstimate this pieces dates from the 1800's.  The bottle measures 1-7/8" diameter not counting the cap or chain.  The chain and ring measure 2-1/2".

Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Combo Perfume / Lipstick Holder with Hand-Painted Roses

This gorgeous item is a combination perfume and lipstick holder for your purse.  It is all done in a beautiful shade of aqua blue enamel guilloche with sterling silver fittings.  There are little pink roses scattered all the way around the center pieces.  It is marked Sterling and Germany on the lipstick holder.  These double combo perfumes are very rare indeed and hard to find in this condition which is absolutely perfect.  There is no damage whatsoever to the enameling and that is amazing considering that these were meant to be carried in your purse or reticule and were subject to much abuse.  The perfume bottle end still has the little glass stopper inside the screw-on cap.  Lots of pictures to see so enjoy!  Measures 3-1/2" long.

Rare Blue Foliate Art Glass Perfume with Sterling Silver Cap & Chatelaine Ring

This is one of the most beautiful scent bottle holders I have every seen ... it is done in a sky blue art glass with foliate designs running all through ... the depth and color are amazing.  The capt is beautifully embossed all the way around and snaps closed tightly.  There is a beaded chain and a small twisted loop ring to attach to a chatelaine or wear on your pinky finger.  The bottle opens to reveal a small glass perfume vial with a tiny cork shaped stopper.  There is padding beneath the bottle for cushioning which was replaced as the old padding was long gone.  It is a beautiful piece in perfect condition.  I cannot find any marks for sterling but was assured when I purchased it that it was and it certainly appears to be sterling to me and generally items of this quality would definitely be sterling.  The bottle measures 3-1/8" long from cap to tip.

Early Boston & Sandwich Jeweled Perfume with Sterling Silver Cap by Mauser

I am not an expert on Boston & Sandwich but was told when purchased that this piece was manufactured by them.  It is an exquisite piece of glass with beautiful tiny applied flowers and enameling and two deep pink jewels.  The sterling silver fittings were made by Mauser and the hallmark dates from 1887-1903 which makes it over 100 years old!  The cap flips open to reveal an old cork stopper and there is some old cotton wadding inside the cap.  The perfume itself is in excellent condition and the only damage is a few of the teeny little petals on a couple of the flowers (visible in the close-up pictures).  It is a rare piece and one I have treasured in my personal collection for many years.  Measures 5" long and 1" diameter at the widest part of silver cap.

White Double Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Roses

This is a beautiful little double enamel guilloche perfume in snowy white with pink roses on the center and four corners. The guilloche pattern is done in a swirl that starts at the center and continues outward in a spiral shape.  The back has undecorated white enamel guilloche in the same spiral design which reminds me of a fingerprint whorl. The shape of the bottle itself is very unique in that it is rectangular with "cut" corners. Cap unscrews and has a dauber attached. Enameling is all excellent with no chips or damage of any kind.  The gold plating on the bottle is all in good shape with the exception of the very top by the neck ... at that point it is base metal (silver) showing through.  And there is some foxing on the grooved portion of the cap. Being that there is no evidence of this piece being used, I assume it is the way it was made and any spotting or discoloration is simply age. Unmarked.  Measures 2" long x 1-1/4" wide (counting cap).

Unique and Pretty Teal Enamel Guilloche Cloisonne' Push-Button Purse Perfume and Matching Mirror

I just love the design of this purse perfume and matching tiny mirror done in cloisonne' enamel guilloche in a radiant design. The perfume is long and slim and flat and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.  The front is all done in a teal shade of enamel guilloche in cloisonne' ... so pretty!  The back is engraved metal.  The screw-top has a push-button release to dab the perfume on.  The little matching mirror has a tiny ring on the end to attach to a chatelaine.  I am not sure what the base metal is but has a gold tone to it so I am assuming a brass or gold alloy of some kind.   It is in excellent condition with no damage or noticeable wear at all with the exception of foxing on the mirror.  It is unmarked. Perfume measures 2-3/4" long x 1" wide.  Mirror is 3-1/2" long x 1-3/8" wide.

Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Perfume with Hand-Painted Roses on Both Sides and Cap

Here we have another little aqua blue enamel guilloche purse perfume with hand-painted roses scattered all over.  The fittings are all sterling silver and it is marked on the base 935.  The cap screws on tightly and there is a removable celluloid(?) dauber.  The interior is lined but I am not sure with what ... when purchased I was told the dauber and lining were bone but I cannot substantiate that as I am not an expert on this.  To me the dauber appears to be an early celluloid.  The enameling is in perfect condition on the body of the perfume ... the cap has two very miniscule flakes on the curved portion that look much worse in the pictures than in person.  It's a great piece and very reasonably priced.  Measures just a bit over 2-3/4" long.

Octagon Double Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Bouquet

Here is a delightful little purse perfume done in mint green and white enamel guilloche with hand-painted blue forget-me-nots and a rose bouquet on the front center.  So pretty!  The back of the perfume is done in solid matching mint green enamel guilloche.  The base metal of the perfume is a shiny gold (brass? gold alloy? not sure).  The cap unscrews and has a long attached dauber.  The enamel guilloche is all in excellent condition and overall the piece appears unused.  There is one spot on the screw cap and an area by the neck where the gold is missing ... not sure if this is just age wear or what.  Pictures will show it.  Measures 1-1/4" diameter not counting cap.

Gorgeous 19th Century Hand-Painted Bohemian Cased Glass Perfume

This is an exquisite perfume bottle with a cased pale aqua green overlay cut to the white layer beneath.  Tiny blue and pink flowers are hand-painted on the white panels along with French scrolling curlicues.  The bottom edge is diamond cut alternating with cut branches.  The stopper matches the bottle and has deeply cut scallops around the edge.  Overall it is one of the most beautiful bottles I have owned and have never seen another like it.  It is just gorgeous! 19th century ... excellent condition.  Measures 4-1/4" diameter at the widest portion (base) x 6-3/4" high.

Rare Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Heart Perfume with Matching Funnel ... both Pieces Signed

This is a lovely heart shaped sterling silver perfume bottle with a screw cap with a dauber attached.  It comes with its original funnel for easy filling.  Both pieces are marked Tiffany & Co. and stamped 925 Sterling.  The funnel stem has a slight bend which I assume is the way it was made.  There are no dents only very minor scuffs from age appropriate use.  It polishes up beautifully!  Measures 1-5/8" across x 1-5/8" tall.

Lovely Lalique "Cactus"

This is an iconic perfume bottle that has been one of the most popular designed in 1928 by Rene Lalique. The bottle has raised bumps tipped in black all over as well as the stopper, all in satin glass. The bottom of the bottle is acid signed "Lalique France". Bottle overall is in excellent condition with only minor wear or fleabites to a few of the tips only noticeable upon close inspection. Measures 4" tall.

Exquisite French Baccarat Crystal Gilded Vanity Set in "Empire" Design

Stunning 4-pc. (plus lids) vanity set made by the prestigious French crystal company Baccarat.  This set is done in gold gilt in the discontinued "Empire" design which is quite exquisite in its own right. I have not been able to determine when this was discontinued but I believe this set dates from the 1920's or 30's.  Set consists of covered powder jar, perfume atomizer, and two bottles for perfume and cologne (difference in stoppers helps to identify contents).  Each piece is signed on the bottom.  The pieces are all panel cut and polished and the design is repeated in alternating panels all the way around the bottle and on the lid and base of the powder jar.  Perfume atomizer is hardened and does not work but is original. It is pretty much perfect with no discernible damage of any kind (in fact, the only apology is the teeniest of fleabites on the base of one stopper too small to even photograph).  Measurements of the pieces are as follows:

Perfume Bottle Bases are 5-1/2" high x 3-1/2" diameter.  Stoppers add another 2" - 2-1/8" more.
Perfume Atomizer:  4-7/8" high x 2-3/4" diameter.
Powder Jar: 3-1/4" diameter x 3-3/4" high.

Gold gilt is all in perfect condition with no visible wear anywhere.  Bases are also gold gilt.  These pieces are extremely heavy lead crystal and the weight of all four pieces is 7 lbs. 12 oz.!

French Etched Crystal Perfume with Bronze Enamel Guilloche Base, 1800's

This 19th century enameled bronze and etched glass perfume bottle is absolutely striking ... I love the delicate shell/fan and flower designs that are on all 8 of the panels (yes, there are 8!) as well as the top edge which also has 8 panels. It definitely dates from the 1800's and it is set in a bronze openwork base with deep hunter green and red enamel guilloche bands accenting the edge. The shell/fan motif which is in the etched design is replicated in the bronze work in the base and there is a cut starburst on the bottom as well. It is just gorgeous! The large cut crystal ball stopper tops it off beautifully. It is truly one of the finest perfume bottles of its kind that I have ever owned and would be a centerpiece on any lady's vanity for sure! The bottle is in perfect condition ... the stopper has some very minor fleabites around the very bottom edge only. Bronze base measures 3" square with mitered corners; bottle itself is 2-3/8" square x approx. 6-1/2" high.

Fan Stopper Geometric Perfume Bottle

This lovely perfume bottle dates from the mid 20th century and features an elaborate geometric design on the fan stopper and flared bottle. The stopper has star daisies running through the center and is picked up by a matching one on the center of the bottle. This same bottle is pictured in Perfume, Cologne and Scent Bottles by Jacquelyn Y. Jones North on page 72. It is in excellent condition with no damage that I can find whatsoever. The bottle base measures 3-3/4" wide x 2-5/8" high x almost 2" deep; overall height with stopper is 7".

Pair of Czech Aqua Green Art Glass Vanity Bottles - One Each for Perfume and Cologne - Both with Hand-Painted Flowers

This is a beautiful pair of vanity bottles for perfume and cologne made in Czechoslovakia. The color is a very pretty aqua green shade with black glass stoppers. Both jarsand stoppers have hand-painted flowers that are very nicely detailed. The bottles appear to be hand-made as the necks are slightly different inside and each stopper only fits the bottle it was custom cut to fit. The bottles and stoppers are in excellent condition with the following exceptions: one bottle has two small flat chips on the very top-facing flat part of the bottle neck (these blend in so well with the glass that you have to look very closely to see them and they didn't show up in the photo at all) and some teeny little fleabites on the stopper bases that are, for all intents and purposes, a total non-issue. Again, too small to show up in photos. This is a beautiful, eye-catching set ... marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" on both bases. Each bottle measures 2-1/2" square x 4" tall to top of neck; 5-1/2" tall to top of stoppers.

Lovely Cut Cobalt Heart-Shaped Perfume

Here is a truly gorgeous deep cobalt blue bottle with facet cut stopper and bottle which is shaped into a cut heart ... if is very pretty! I am not sure of the perfume this would have held or who the maker may be but it is a rich color and all of the cut faces are polished to a smooth finish. There are remnants on the bottom of a paper sticker or label but whether this is original or later, I have no idea. If anyone knows who may have made this, feel free to inform me and I will share it. The bottle and stopper are in excellent condition with no visible or discernible damage of any kind. The bottle measures 2" wide x 1-1/4" deep x 5-1/4" tall.

Cobalt Blue Perfume Bottle with Pierced Silver Holder with Dragonflies and Water Lilies

This is a lovely cobalt blue bottle with pierced silver overlay holder on the bottom half. The screw cap seems to be a pewter type metal. I don't know who made this as there are no markings on it ... the glass has bubbles and ripples in it that you find in older glass but I don't have any idea of age on this one. First Impressions made similar bottles but they were marked Made in England on the caps and this one has no markings. I am pricing it accordingly. Measures 3" wide x 3-3/4" tall. Perfect condition!

Gorgeous Art Deco Cut Crystal DeVilbiss Perfume Atomizer

This stunning perfume atomizer by DeVilbiss shows true Art Deco influence with its stylized lines, star cut crystal, and black glass base and top.  The atomizer is original and is hardened but the mesh covering is in great shape.  There are no chips to the glass whatsoever.  There is old perfume remnants inside the bottle which I cannot get out because I do not know how to remove the top.  I will leave that to you purists!  The piece measures 1-7/8" diameter at the base, 1-1/8" diameter at the bottle, and 2-7/8" high.

Rare "Antoinette" 3-Pc. Vanity Set Featuring Figural Colonial Ladies in Hoop Skirts -- Puff Box and Pair of Matching Perfumes

This is a very rare 3-pc. vanity set with full-figured colonial ladies ... their upper bodies are of frosted glass while the bottom halves which make up their full skirts are done in clear PINK glass.  I had a really hard time capturing the true pink color ... my photos look more peach or orange tinted when in reality they are a true pink and MUCH prettier than these pics show.  I do not know who made the set and cannot find out much about them ... they are pictured in Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years on page 144. This set is in excellent condition and still has traces of the black eye paint which even the book's pictures are missing most.  The puff box measures 4" diameter x 4" high.  The perfumes are each 2-7/8" diameter at the bottoms x 4-3/4" high.

Guerlain Shalimar Perfume in Original Box, Still Sealed!
Bottle Made in France by Baccarat

This is an unopened bottle of Shalimar perfume still in the original presentation box with the Guerlain name.  Ironically, even though this has never been opened and the seal is still intact on the neck, there is partial loss of perfume through evaporation over the years.  I have taken several close-ups which clearly show this has never been opened nor tampered with so it is all original.  The bottle was made in France by Baccarat.  The purple velvet box says Guerlain Paris in gold on the front and the horse logo is in gold inside the lid.  The box measures 2-3/4" wide x 4-1/4" high x 1-1/8" deep.  Bottle is a bit over 3" tall.

Sterling Silver Enamel Guilloche Pendant or Chatelaine Perfume by F and B in Vintage (Original?) Box - MINT Condition!

This beautiful baby blue enamel guilloche perfume bottle is done in sterling silver by F and B and it is fabulous! It has a fine silver chain with a ring catch which can be used to attach it to the adjustable black silk braided cord or a chatelaine. It is in an early box which was probably the jewelry store's box ... it is marked on the outside and on the bottom but with different numbers/descriptions so it probably got interchanged in the store many years ago. The top of the box says "#7419 Blue Green finish" and the bottom of the box says "#8063 Blue No Tassel". The enamel guilloche is identical on both sides. The cap unscrews and has an attached metal dauber. It is in mint condition! Measures 1-7/8" from tip of cap to bottom of bottle. The chainlink drop is 1-5/8" from the top of cap to the top of ring. The braided cord necklace is 35" long (17-1/2" drop).

Pierrot Porcelain Perfume Bottle Made in Germany

Adorable figural perfume bottle made in Germany ... this Pierrot figure is in excellent condition. The top has a cork stopper.  It is marked Germany and what looks like Rd 815.  Color was hard to capture but he is snowy white with a green ruffled collar and a black cap, buttons, and shoes.  He stands 3-1/2" tall and has no damage whatsoever.

Webster Sterling Silver Purse Perfume with Turquoise Blue Enamel Guilloche Front & Original Funnel

Here is a gorgeous turquoise blue enamel guilloche miniature purse perfume with hand-painted roses on the front and a tiny golden bird in the center.  The enamel guilloche front is bordered with a solid black outline and embossed edges.  Back is polished silver and stamped "Sterling" on the bottom and hallmarked for Webster.*  Comes with a tiny funnel for filling and dauber is attached to the screw-on cap.  The little funnel is also signed with the Webster Sterling hallmarks (too tiny to photograph but I will try).  Excellent condition ... circa 1930. Measures 1-5/8" long x almost 1" wide. Tiny funnel is 5/8" diameter x 5/8" high.

*The Webster Company was originally founded by George K. Webster in 1869 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Their line of sterling items included over 20 patterns of dresser sets, picture frames, cigarette holders, bowls, baby items, candlesticks, napkin rings and more. They were primarily manufacturers of sterling items, however they did have a small line of silver plate items. In 1958, they purchased the Frank W. Smith Silver Co. and today the Webster Co. is part of Reed & Barton Silversmiths.

Ornate Jeweled Filigreed Reverse Impressed Painted Floral Perfume with Enamel Accents

That description is quite a mouthful but was necessary to describe this very ornate perfume.  The cap and the center front have a glass button that is molded from the back and painted with rich floral colors that give it a 3 dimensional appearance.  There are amethyst jewels all around the center  as well as on the shoulders along with white enameled leaves (see photos).  There is one tiny amethyst missing but I didn't even notice this until I saw the close-up picture ... there is so much detail that the jewels are hard to even see! The cap screws on tightly and has an attached glass dauber.   Measures 2-1/8" high x 1-3/4" wide.

White Double Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Roses

This is a beautiful little double enamel guilloche perfume in snowy white with pink roses and blue forget-me-nots. It is just so sweet! The back has undecorated white enamel guilloche and both sides are edged with richly embossed designs in the gold-tone metal. Cap unscrews and has a dauber attached. Enameling is all excellent with the exception of a tiny area of discoloration at lower left on front ... close-up picture makes it look much more noticeable than it is. It is under the glass, not a chip, so it is probably a manufacturer's flaw. Barely visible in person. Measures 2" long x 1-1/8" wide.

Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume with Hand-Painted Rose & Golden Bird

This is a sweet little silvertone perfume in with a baby blue enamel guilloche center vignette on the front with a hand-painted pink rose and a golden bird. Cap screws on tightly and has a dauber attached. Back is smooth silver.  It is in excellent condition; however, there is a brassy color showing through on the back (it looks much more visible in the pics than in person).  Measures 1-3/4" long x 1-1/4" wide.

Cut Glass Perfume with Enamel Guilloche Sterling Silver Top by Henry Perkins & Sons, London, 1909

Here is another perfume that I have owned for several years ... I am partial to blue enamel guilloche and this one has a stunning cap hallmarked from Henry Perkins & Sons, a London silversmith who began operations in 1909. The date stamp on this one is a bit difficult to make out but is sometime between 1916 and 1930.  The cap unscrews to reveal a tiny glass stopper (there is a teeeeeeeny little flake on the stopper that I honestly did not see until I took the close-up photos).  The base is done in diamond cut while the sides are zipper cut and the bottom is polished. The bottle measures 1-1/4" square at the base, 7/8" square at the center, and 2-5/8" tall.  The are some rough areas around the neck of the bottle (under the lid) and there are two very minor chips on the very edge of the cap that I could not get to show up in photos.

Hand Blown Italian Ribbon Glass Perfume

This is a really pretty Italian glass purse perfume with pulled ribbon designs running from top to bottom in a swirled effect. Gold tone lid and dauber have a speckled effect as if they were sprinkled with gold dust. Very pretty! Perfect condition ... measures 3" long overall.

Large Size Porcelain Hand-Painted Figural / Scenic Perfume

This beautiful hand-painted perfume bottle has two completely different designs ... on the "front" (both sides are interchangeable so there is technically no specific front or back), there is a lake with a couple in a rowboat and a castle in the background.  On the reverse side is a terraced hillside with a castle and mountains in the background.  The brass cap unscrews to an open neck (I will include a cork stopper if you would like to use it).  What makes this especially unusual is the HUGE size ... unlike most purse perfumes which measure an inch or two, this one is 3-1/4" tall (not counting cap) by 2-1/2" wide x 1" deep at the neck tapering to 5/8" at the bottom point.  The cap has a few dents as visible in the pictures.  Other than that the bottle is in perfect condition.  The sides are a chocolate brown shade.

Rare Deco Trojan Horse Perfume Room Atomizer

Here we have a very rare piece ... made of glass with black deco Trojan horse head and white frosted base.  Supposedly from a dress shop, this piece was made to fill with perfume or scented oil and when the head is removed, the wick will release the scent into the air.  Dating from the late 20's, I'm sure there are not many of these still in existence.  In fact, it is the only one I have ever seen!  Glass is all in excellent condition with no chips or damage; all original.  It's ready to use in your home!

Set of 3 Coty Perfume Bottles by Lalique with Original Labels

This is a vintage set of three Coty perfume bottles made by Lalique. Original paper label on front of the largest bottle, smaller label on front of mid-size bottle. Two are signed on base. All have the frosted floral caps. Tallest bottle measures 10-1/2" high x 4-1/4" wide x 1-1/7" deep. Mid-size bottle is 6-1/2" high x 1-3/4" square. Small bottle is 5-1/4" high x 1-1/2" square. All in excellent original condition.  (Click on pic for more photos.)

Blue Satin Glass Barber Bottles with Figural Bird Porcelain Tops

This is a beautiful pair of antique barber bottles with hand-painted flowers on blue satin glass. The porcelain tops are figural birds whose beaks have a hinged metal top that opens to pour. The bottles and tops are in perfect condition ... the hand-painted flowers show some wear as appropriate to age. Bottles measure 7-1/4" high to top of neck, 9-3/4" high to top of bird's head.  Sold individually; if pair is purchased, we will take $20 off the price of the second bottle when we process your order. Simply order 2 and we will make the appropriate correction to the amount in-house. DeVilbiss Atomizer & Powder Box in Deep Pink

Pink (almost like peachblow) DeVilbiss signed perfume and matching powder box. Atomizer ball is missing from perfume. Signed on silver top of perfume and acid etched on bottom of powder box. Powder box has black accent line around lid. Perfume measures 6" tall, powder jar is 4-3/4" diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition.

Mirrored vanity tray sold separately. Mirror bottom with glass rods trimmed in brass tips around edge. Measures 8" x 11" O.D., 6" x 9" I.D.

Pink Petals Perfume & Matching Powder Box with Deco Tops

Pink ribbed glass powder box and matching perfume bottle with petal design on lid of powder and side of perfume and stepped deco design tops. Perfume measures almost 6" tall, powder jar is almost 4" diameter and about 4-1/2" high. Uncertain of manufacturer or age. Stopper on bottle does not have a dauber and I am not sure it ever did. It has a slightly uneven tip but it is molded so I don't believe it was ever ground or polished off. Both pieces are in excellent condition.

Mirrored vanity tray sold separately. Mirror bottom with glass rods trimmed in brass tips around edge. Measures 8" x 11" O.D., 6" x 9" I.D.

Amethyst Glass Perfume Bottle

Amethyst glass perfume bottle with ribbed sides, faceted stopper (for some reason picture makes it look more blue than it is). It is a molded piece, no marks. Measures 3" diameter at base x 4-3/4" high.  Condition is very good with a few exceptions:  there is some roughness around the molded ribs which can be felt rather than seen.  And the stopper has a teeny fleabite on one of the points around the top.  Again, it is easier to feel than to see.  Priced accordingly.

Blue and White Avon Perfume

Very pretty Avon perfume bottle in blue glass (more true blue than it looks in the picture). The stopper is white satin glass, bottom is clear blue. A few small chips in bottom of stopper but otherwise perfect. Measures 3" wide x 4-1/2" high overall.

Pink Art Deco Perfume Atomizer

This is a pretty little art deco stylized perfume atomizer marked on Made in U.S.A. on the bottom. Atomizer is hardened and deterioriating but the glass portion is in excellent condition as is the uptake tube inside. Measures 1-7/8" x 1" x 2-1/4" high (does not count bulb).

Victorian Cobalt Glass Chatelaine "Horn" Shaped Perfume with Hand Painted Enamel Berries & Leaves Design

This is a gorgeous cobalt blue glass horn shaped perfume that has its original chain to suspend on a chatelaine. Dating from the 1800's, it is Victorian in nature and is just a beautifu lpiece of jewelry. The ring is large enough that one could have removed it and worn it as a finger attachment. The brass cap lifts up to expose a cork-capped opening. Cork seals the bottle but the lid doesn't snap real tight. There is engraving on the top of the lid (visible on last photo). The enameled decoration is all hand-painted and depicts leaves and berries in fall colors. Excellent condition! This is a most unusual and highly collectible perfume. Measures 3-5/8" when measured tip to tip.

Victorian Cut Cranberry Glass Chatelaine "Horn" Shaped Perfume w/ Silver Mounts & Repousse Cap

This is a darling little cut cranberry glass horn shaped perfume that has its original chain to suspend on a chatelaine. Dating from the 1800's, it is Victorian in nature and is just a beautiful piece of jewelry. The ring is large enough that one could have removed it and worn it as a finger attachment. The silver repousee' cap lifts up to expose a cork-capped opening. Lid snaps shut nicely. Excellent condition with the exception of one very teeny fleabite visible in pics ... doesn't show at all with cork stopper in place. This is a most unusual and highly collectible perfume. Measures 2-1/4" when measured tip to tip.

Rare Matching Perfume Bottles with Hand-Ground Stopper and Applied Colored Stripes -Made in London Circa 1867

Pair of beautiful perfume bottles with applied colored stripes, hand-ground stoppers custom fit to each bottle (not interchangeable). sterling silver collar mounts, polished bottoms. Hallmarks date them to London 1867-1868. Fantastic condition especially considering their age! Bottle portion measures 3-78" high x almost 3" wide at widest part, OA height with stoppers is 5".

Crystal Perfume with Aqua Enamel Guilloche Sterling Silver Mushroom Cap

Cute little crystal octagon shaped perfume with polished sides and bottom. Top is sterling silver (stamped 935) with pretty aqua enamel guilloche rolled mushroom shape. There is a little glass stopper inside the lid which snaps tightly closed. Excellent condition with exception of two very minuscule teeny flecks on back of enamel on underside of top. Measures just 2-1/4" high x 7/8" wide ... cap is 1-1/8" wide.

French Jeweled Perfume with Enameled Portrait

This is an absolutely stunning French jeweled perfume bottle with a raised hand-painted enamel portrait in the center vignette. The portrait of the lovely lady with flowing auburn locks is accentuated with an iridescent flower in her hair that appears to be either a tiny piece of abalone shell or butterfly wing. It is too small for me to be sure, but it is quite beautiful and is inset into the painting. The fancy filigreed bottle is embellished with enameling in the leaves of the seed pearl jewels. Sides of the bottle are embossed in a fancy design and there is a seed pearl at the bottom and in the top of the cap. Tiny chain attaches the top to the bottle to keep it from getting lost. No stopper inside but it more than likely had a cork stopper. I believe I have a replacement that will work and I will include it. Just a gorgeous piece! Marked "Made in France" on neck of bottle. Measures 1-3/4" wide x 2-1/2" high x 3/4" thick counting raised portrait.

Wade Figural Scent Bottle with Crown-shaped Stopper, Circa 1910

This regal scent bottle was made by Wade and is done in a figural with a crown-shaped stopper that resembles a queen. It is in mint condition. I have scanned an insert from the Miller's Price Guide which shows the bottle and dates it to 1910. A lovely addition to your collection! Measures 3-1/2" high x 1-7/8" wide x 1" deep.

Jeweled Chatelaine Glass Perfume with Filigreed Holder Featuring Embossed Birds

This is a highly unusual glass perfume bottle that is encased in a filigreed silvery mounting. The is a chain (broken) attached to each side, so I'm sure it was designed to be worn on a chatelaine. The screw-on cap has a turquoise jewel in the top. For as tiny as it is, the workmanship is superb. There is an embossed scene with birds on either side, so both sides are highly decorative. Excellent condition with exception of the broken chain (easily remedied). Measures 1-1/8" diameter x just over 1-1/2" high.

Sweet Little Figural Kewpie Style Porcelain Perfume - Germany - Circa 1930's

Don't you just want to kiss her? This adorable little German-made porcelain perfume bottle is done in the style of the famous little Kewpie dolls ... it is just darling. Just look at that expression! All hand-painted, very nice lifelike coloring and gorgeous blue eyes! Comes with crown stopper. Marked Germany and 37 on base. Perfect condition with no damage of any kind. Measures 3" high x 1-1/2" long x 1" wide.

Rare Cobalt Double-Sided Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume

This is one of my favorite purse perfumes from my private collection. I just love the richness of the deep cobalt blue with the subtle designs visible beneath and then the pink roses and blue forget-me-not. It is just so sweet! Rarely do you find enameling on the back, and this one is exquisitely done. It is all in perfect condition. Cap unscrews for easy filling. This is an exceptionally rare piece and one you won't find another like for quite some time! Measures 1-1/8" wide x 2" high.

Gorgeous Tiny Pink Enamel Guilloche Pendant Vinaigrette

They say the best things come in small packages and this is a perfect example of that! This is a teeny tiny little pink enamel guilloche vinagrette pendant that is HUGE on beauty and looks! The design in the guilloche has a tiny little flower in the center with lines radiating around it in a sunburse pattern. Just gorgeous! There are little vent holes all around the outer edge so that the fragrance can waft out. The enameling is on both front and back and is identical, so when wearing on a chain, it will be just as lovely from either side. Marked "Sterling" on the inside (see photo). Excellent condition throughout ... there is one area at bottom edge where clear top coat didn't quite make it to edge, but it is only noticeable under magnification. Measures just under 3/4" diameter and is about 1/4" thick.

Estee Lauder Solid Perfume Ivory Series "Imperial Foo Dog" - 1974

This Estee Lauder Solid Perfume was made in 1974 and is from the Ivory Series. This one is called the "Imperial Foo Dog" and originally held either Youth Dew or Azuree solid perfume. There is still Youth Dew inside this one. The goldtone square base has a lower rim decorated with a Greek key design all the way around. Original label still on bottom. Piece is in great shape with lovely patina. Measures approximately 1" square x 2" high overall.

Sterling Silver with Pink Enamel Guilloche Trim Perfume with Matching Dresser Dish in Etched Designs

This is an absolutely gorgeous dresser set consisting of a perfume bottle with pink enamel guilloche on sterling silver dauber and a matching dresser dish with the same pink border. The perfume nests into the dish so it can be used as a liner for the perfume or for rings and small jewelry (not an exact fit but close enough to use this way). Both pieces are etched in deep cut flower designs ... and both pieces are in excellent condition. Dish measures 5" diameter x 3/4" deep. Perfume is 3" diameter at base x 3-1/2" high overall.

Etched Glass Combo Perfume/Powder with Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Guilloche Stopper (Fostoria?)

This beautiful combination perfume/powder jar was probably made by Fostoria as the design is consistent with their work. Etched designs in lid and perfume ... top of stopper is blue enamel guilloche on sterling silver ... there is a tiny sliver of enamel missing near one of the scalloped edges (visible in pic above) ... other than that, the set is in great condition. Comes with large pale blue swansdown puff. Measures 4-1/2" diameter x 5-5/8" tall overall.

Rare 3-Pc. Peach Enamel Guilloche Purse Set - Perfume, Mirror, Pillbox

Here we have a really fabulous peach enamel guilloche purse set including a pill box, tiny mirror, and petite perfume. Notice the little white band of enamel around the border for accent ... very pretty! The perfume is enameled on both sides and has a screw-on cap. The tiny mirror is beveled and is just too cute! The pill box lid lifts off free and holds closed tightly. This is just a beautiful little set ... comes with pouch for storing. All pieces measure 1-3/8" diameter not counting cap and handle.

Etched Satin Glass Bottle with Sterling Silver Lavender Enamel Guilloche Top

Pretty satin glass bottle with etched ribons and flowers draping down the sides. Cap is stelring silver with lavender enamel guilloche. I thought this was a perfume but the lid unscrews to a wide mouth, so I guess that it held something else??  Excellent condition

Blue Perfume with Gold Gilt and Brass Ormolu Mount

This is a beautiful perfume for carrying in your purse. It is made of porcelain with a blue overlay decorated with hand-applied gold gilt flowers that resemble dogwood or apple blossoms. The lid is hinged and snaps closed tightly. Original stopper is gone but was probably cork and I believe I have a replacement that will fit. Measures 2-1/2" long x almost 3/4" diameter. Top of lid has a gold flower as well. Very pretty and in excellent condition!

Peach Double-Sided Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume

This is an adorable little round purse perfume done on both sides in identical peach enamel guilloche. Body of perfume is a brass or copper metal. The cap may not be original as it does not screw on properly and, at the moment, is simply loosely on the top. I am seeking a replacement or a way to make it fit snugly in the meantime. Measures 1-3/8" diameter x 1-3/4" high. Excellent condition with exception of loose lid.

All Original Houbigant Perfume in Signed Bamboo Case

This adorable little Houbigant perfume comes with its original bamboo case signed Houbigant, France, on the bottom. The lid unscrews to reveal a lovely little six-sided bottle with polished bottom. It has remnants of a green satin ribbon around the neck and original glass stopper which I am unable to remove. The contents may be a concentrated bath oil or perfume essence, I am not sure since I can't open it. I have never seen another like it! Immaculate condition and obviously unused. Bottle measures a bit over 5/8" diameter x almost 2-1/2" high. Case is 1" diameter x 3-1/8" high. Sure to be the most unique item in your collection!

Art Glass Cologne Bottle

This beautiful art glass cologne decanter has colors shading from fuchsia pink to purple to teal blue. It is absolutely fabulous! Polished bottom, ground stopper. Quite heavy and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Stands 15-1/2" high to top of stopper. Bottle is 8-1/2" high and approximately 5" wide.

Cut Glass Egyptian-Influence Perfume

Enameled Bristol Glass Perfume circa late 1800's

Gorgeous colors on this one! Lavender, periwinkle blue, pale green, ivory and black center on a white/pink/gold bottle with a deep peach crimped neck. The stopper has matching enameling on it as well. This is a truly exquisite piece ... may end up in my own collection as I love it that much! Found in my travels on a recent trip to Delaware ....Large size ... measures 11-1/2" tall to top of stopper and 3-1/2" diameter at widest portion. Perfect condition! This dates from the 1800's when ladies used to purchase large amounts of perfume and keep it in these beautiful bottles on their dressers. They would take this bottle back to the store for refills when they ran out. Smaller perfume bottles came into vogue in the 20th century.

Pink Czech Perfume Bottle with Feather Shaped Etched Stopper

Beautiful pink Czech perfume bottle with feather shaped stopper deeply cut and etched with floral design. Polished bottom on base of perfume -- one tiny chip (visible in super enlarged last photo) and a few teeny chips on inner rim of neck.. Acid etched "Made in Czechoslovakia" barely visible on bottom. Dauber tip is broken off at base of stopper but perfume seals tightly; this is a common finding with vintage perfumes and doesn't really detract from value and certainly not from its beauty! Measures 6-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" wide overall.

Peach Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume Made in Germany

Here is a lovely little peach enamel guilloche mini purse perfume with a unique push-button dauber. The cap unscrews for easy filling. Base metal appears to be brass or copper. Signed "Germany" on the round portion of cap. Measures 2-1/8" tall x 1-1/8" wide.

Schuco Mohair Monkey Perfume Bottle Circa 1929

This adorable little mohair monkey was made by Schuco around 1929.  The feet, ears and hands are shaped felt and the face is metal with light flocking on it (some age appropriate wear).  The head lifts off to expose a hidden glass perfume bottle with original cork stopper.  The bottle itself has traces of old perfume still inside and the entire bottle can be removed from the body.  Normally the mohair on these shows quite a bit of moth damage but this one is near perfect!   Felts are all in great shape as well.  Measures 5" tall.

Fenton Tall Perfume Bottles with Charleton Design Hand-Painted Roses

Although the picture shows a pair, one of them has been sold. Made by Fenton, it is done in their Charleton design which features hand-painted roses. Added to this charm are blue ribbons tied in bows giving it a Victorian look. The ruffled neck and stopper is trimmed in gold. Excellent condition with exception of a slight air bubble chip on bottom of stopper. Measures 7" tall to tip.

Sterling Silver Mint Green Enamel Guilloche Purse Perfume w/Gold Butterfly

This is a beautiful little mint green enamel guilloche petite purse perfume with a pink rose, blue flowers, and a gold butterfly. Case is marked "Sterling" on the base. Enameling is in excellent condition with only two teeny little fleabites right at the base under the flower (visible in pic above). Top unscrews to access perfume (there is no dauber). Tiny ring at top to attach to a chatelaine if desired. Measures 2" long not counting top; overall length is 2-3/4".

This is a sweet little egg-shaped yellow enamel guilloche pendant vinaigrette with hand-painted violets around the top edge ... very unusual to find these with any type of flowers or decoration on them. There is a ring for hanging on a necklace or a fob. Unfortunately, there is some enamel loss along one side where the two halves join and another wee bit at the bottom. All in all, a really cute little piece. There may have been a cap at the bottom to cover the screw tip, but I can't be sure. This is the way it was purchased and it works fine the way it is, so I can't say for certain. Measures approximately 3/4" long.

Wedgwood (unmarked) Jasperware Perfume with Ornate Sterling Repousse' Top

Lovely unmarked Wedgwood blue jasperware perfume with ornate English sterling silver repousse' top hallmarked for Birmingham, 1889. Features two classical Wedgwood scenes with couples in 18th century costumes in landscapes with dogs and sheep. Cylindrical bottle measures 3-1/4" tall x 1" diameter. Screw top has cork liner to seal.

Glass Perfume Bottle in Metal Carrying Case with Jewel on Top Made in Germany

Very odd little purse perfume ... glass perfume has traces of old perfume and long dauber in great shape. Metal carrying case is marked "Made in Germany" and looks very utilitarian with the exception of the embedded jewel in the lid. The cap screws on tightly to hold the perfume inside and keep it sealed tight. Case is a little dented from use but perfume inside is great. Measures a bit over 2-1/2" high.

Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Guilloche Petite Purse Perfume

This gorgeous little purse perfume is done in sterling silver and pretty robin's egg blue enamel guilloche. The enameling is in perfect condition and the silver is smooth and undented. The screw-on cap has a little ring attached to the top so this can be attached to a chain and worn as a pendant or attached to a chatelaine. Also, the attached dauber has a tiny ball on the end to carry the perfume ... very sweet! Measures 1-3/4" high x 1-1/8" wide.

Rare Figural Black Americana Catalin Purse Perfume

Here we have a very rare catalin purse perfume in a Black Americana theme! The smiling face is topped with a yellow tophat. He has red lips and jeweled eyes (although one jewel is missing ... we will try to find a replacement. The case opens by unscrewing the top portion. Inside is a glass removable perfume bottle with dauber intact. Back of tophat has a 1/4" chip out of edge; other than that and missing eye, piece is perfect. Measures 3-1/4" high.

Zipper Glass Crystal Perfume with Sterling Silver Top, Chatelaine Loop

Here we have a beautiful cut crystal zipper design perfume with stelring silver repousse' lid. Lid snaps closed tightly and has a tiny ring to attach to a chatelaine. There is also a tiny ground glass stopper inside to seal the perfume. Beautiful piece! Measures just a bit over 4" long.

Figural Perfume from Holland

Cute little novelty figural perfume bottle made in Holland (see base pic below). Enameled colors on clear glass show only very minimal wear ... filled with a pale liquid (no scent ... I think it is colored water but this is how I bought it, so I am not sure). Measures 3" tall x 1-1/2" wide.

Rare Green Enamel Guilloche Jeweled Vinaigrette

Rich emerald green enamel guilloche vinaigrette with shell design ... bottom of piece has three tiny holes for scent to escape.  Jeweled cap twists off and there is a cotton pad inside to saturate with your favorite scent.  Both sides are identical.  Base metal appears to be silver but I have not tested it yet and there are no markings, so it may be silverplate. Condition is excellent ... no chips or cracks or wear to enameling.  Measures 1-1/2" wide x 2-3/8" high overall.

French Deco Perfume Atomizer by Marcel Franck Patented in U.S. in 1937

This is a superb art deco design perfume atomizer made in France by Marcel Franck. The atomizer is done in shiny silver metal (possibly chrome) with high polish and concentric ring design with Marcel Franck insignia on the back. Diamond cross-cut designs are on the sides of the bottle. Polished base bears the acid etched Marcel Franck seal. This design was patented in the U.S. in 1937. Excellent condition. Measures 2-3/4" X 1-1/4" X 3-1/8" high.
